Bernalyn McGaughey, CSI President/CEO, is co-editor of a new publication by the American Chemical Society (ACS): Pesticide Regulation and the Endangered Species Act. The book is being released in the popular ACS Symposium Series and is available online November 2012, with the print version scheduled for early 2013. ACS describes the volume: “This book is the first comprehensive treatment of issues related to pesticide regulation and the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The basis of the book is an emerging spirit of cooperation and constructive dialogue among key stakeholders … the 24 contributed chapters capture a diverse set of viewpoints and include contributions from federal and state regulators, scientists and expert consultants along with agricultural and environmental advocates.” In addition to Ms. McGaughey’s contributions, other CSI regulatory and environmental scientists provided input throughout the publication.
