Principal Consultant, CSI-Europe

Compliance Services International (CSI) has a vacancy for a Principal Consultant attached to its office in Edinburgh, Scotland. 

CSI provides various regulatory and scientific consulting services to the biocide, chemical, agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. 

Key candidates should have a proven ability in serving private sector clients and interfacing with government agencies.  The successful candidate will provide regulatory assistance to registrants seeking to comply in particular with European Union (EU) registration requirements.  Responsibilities include regulatory liaison, dossier preparation and submission, risk assessment, data review and evaluation, and study placement and monitoring. The position requires close interaction with registration specialists and scientists at other CSI offices in the EU and USA.  

Key qualities for successful candidates include initiative, the ability to work well in a “virtual” team environment, and a positive customer focus.  Computer literacy and good verbal and written communication skills are essential, and some travel between CSI locations, and specific project-related travel will be required.

Minimum requirements:

Degree in environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or a related field, combined with considerable relevant industry experience.
